Our relationship with God is the most important relationship of our life. We should spend time developing this relationship. There are many facets of personal devotion that are essential to a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. However, we will focus on 3 key ingredients.
My Best 30 Ever
MY BEST 30 EVER (MBTE) is a 30 day plan to bring out the best Spiritual and Physical disciplines. At the end of the 30 days, we want you to say, “Wow, that is the best 30 days I have had spiritually and physically.” The intent is that you will create habits that will last a lifetime. During each day, you will have Scriptural references, encouragement, tips, and support from our blog. You can ask questions about your progress and determine how you can change your course through the 30 days. In order for this plan to work, you must be ruthless with setting your schedule. This is from the chapter on Prayer:
Questioning God honestly expresses your concern, frustration, and distress. Jesus says that our Father knows what we need from Him before we even ask[1]. Therefore, it is ignorant to fake like we are doing perfectly well before God all the while we are broken inside. While counseling with members of my church and meeting in small groups, I find that most people think they are being honest with God when in reality that is not the case. In actuality, they are not even being honest with themselves, much less God. Most of the time, God listens to prayers laced with hidden sin, no repentance, memorized clichés, and self promoting requests. Read the rest of this entry
ACLU challenges San Marcos City Council

The ACLU has challenged San Marcos City Council’s right to have an invocation at each council meeting. They have officially sent a letter to city officials.
Please go to the SAN MARCOS MINISTERIAL ASSOCIATION website and voice your opinion of what direction we should take. You will also be able to download the letter from ACLU on our website.
