Nigeria Oct13
This morning we ate at hotel again for breakfast. Then,I hung out at the hotel and prepared for service. My dad and Mark went around ‘shopping’. Don’t tell anyone. We later went to a market-type place under a bridge. It was very rough. They were very poor and their conditions were very dirty. We did purchase some gifts from them.
We went to lunch at Pastor Ani’s for lunch. His wife prepared a GREAT meal. Rice, Chicken, tomato sauce, casaba, and a lot of other things I can’t spell or remember how to say. However, it was so much better than our restaurant experience. We were so relieved to

I am typing on horrible computer. \please excuse typos…
Today, was our first full day in Nigeria. We ate a semi-American breakfast at the hotel (very nice place to stay). Then, we hired a car and driver (about $10/hour)to take us to Pastor Ani. The roads are horribly crowded and some have potholes 4 feet wide and 1 ft deep.
This Picture Fires Me Up!
The artist element of this picture is very lame. The lighting is not that great. Most of the people aren’t looking at the camera. It doesn’t represent eye-popping, ground breaking ministry style. However, there is a secret about this picture that speaks volumes.
Look in the bottom right corner. 6/22/03 That was our third official service for PromiseLand San Marcos. The group of people behind the table were our official ‘greeters’ for that service. (notice nametags).
So, what fires me up?
Baptism Candidates
We are focusing on baptisms this week at PromiseLand San Marcos and expect many to be baptized. We are praying.
Why and for what reason are we lifting up prayers?
Heart Warming Story from PSM
Our church has joined Operation Pray Me Home. A mission to adopt US soldiers, and pray for them and their families while in battle. It has developed into much more for both the soldiers and us.
One of the soldiers lost his life in the battle last month and the host family from PSM was invited to the funeral ceremony. Check out this amazing story from our members: Sylvia and her son, Ryan.
