This Week
After church on Sunday, the family and I loaded the car and we are traveling to Nashville for a few days. I am going to try and post some updates here. We are looking forward to hanging out with the Lowerys and Ragsdales.
This past weekend was so special for me. I can’t remember experiencing services where the mixture of faith and works was so balanced. In other words, we all stood up and acted on our faith. It is amazing how God always wants me to step out and lead. The comfortable position is to sit back and watch the congregation act. We all need to stand up and lead someone! Who is following you and where are you taking them? Hopefully, you are teaching them to give through your example.
Is there anything you want me to say to the Lowerys?
We will be back this coming weekend for our BIG Baptism Celebration! If you haven’t been baptized, then get ready for this Sunday night at the San Marcos River! 6pm – Even if you have already been baptized, join us for a great meal and good people

WKND!
I am eagerly anticipating a great weekend. The women are going on a retreat tonight. Then, we are having John Ragsdale join us on Saturday night. I was already intending to show a clip from John prophesying over our church and then speak on it. Now, that he is going to be here also, it is confirmation that everything is lining up just right. Be in prayer that God’s ways will be our ways this weekend!

School Board
How interesting! The San Marcos School Board has contacted me this week and wants to meet with local pastors for a luncheon to discuss how the churches can be more involved. So…it looks like I will be dining with the district superintendent and board.
The main things they want to discuss are the discipline problems and lack of parental involvement.
How ironic after yesterday’s post.

Friday is a my day to rest
Friday is basically my weekend and Saturday begins my next week.
So, this week I took an extra day and I went with some men from the church down to the coast for a little bay fishing. This is research to learn how Jesus and disciples spent some of their time! I will let you know how it goes!
