Living my story.
That night was SO awesome !!!! We have one of the best (if NOT the best) Pastors around, and I love to hear what he has to say to us (me) but when we have people like John and Kristin Ragsdale, come and speak to us, to tell us what God is telling them about what is coming for us…. WOW. Karen and I had never met Kristin until that night, she just stoped and started talking to us like she had known us for years and John stopped after service and talked to me like it had just been yesterday since we had last soke. The Ragsdales are wonderful people. Can’t wait to see them again.
I am proud to be a member of a church body that is truly led by God, and that listens to him. The fact that our offering was 5 TIMES what it runs on a weekly basis proves that God has put so many awesome people together at the same place at the same time. I know it is not by accident that it happened that way and I for one can not wait to see where we go from here. I know I was ‘pushed off that ledge’. instead of saying “Hang on and lets see where this goes” I want to say LET GO, Take that step, and lets see what God has in store for us together!!!
Ok, I better stop now, could go on all night lol…
As always, when John and Kristen visit PSM, I feel like they “add some spice and stir our pot”. I’m not sure why I picture Promiseland San Marcos like this great big pot of sauce cooking. When you make a really great marinara sauce, it helps if you start early in the day and let it simmer, all day you stop by, give it a stir and maybe even add some spices. In the last half hour before you serve it you add in the final spices and keep stirring. When you cook it all day, the flavors blend together perfectly (unity) …all the indvidual items become unrecognizable; all become part of the whole.
Looks like some lil cat-a-pillows got lost under yours and Johns noses. Happy to see that yous are having such a great time. And looking forward o seeing the video you four make.:)
