It is with great pleasure that I announce Will Krauss will be joining the PromiseLand San Marcos church pastoral team on March 1, 2012.

After many years as an “IT guy”, he is leaving a very lucrative and rewarding job to enter full-time ministry.  The Krauss family have been members of PSM for about 7 years and Will has been an Elder in our church for around 5 years.

Will worked for a law firm in Austin for over 15 years.  He worked his way from mail clerk to head of the IT department.  In 2011, he joined Loyal IT as VP and has been instrumental in securing many accounts.  Last year, he graduated from college with a degree in Computer Science.  He has multiple certifications with Microsoft and other entities.  Many years back he attended Bible School and was first ordained at Abundant Life Church in Austin.

At PromiseLand San Marcos, he will be leading in the area of Spiritual Development.  This pastoral position leads a team of volunteers that help people grow in their personal walk with God as well as get connected to serving in the local church.  He will be engaging the ‘crowd’ that gathers on the weekend and  finding ways to get them further in their walk with God.  This will include: PromiseGroups, discipleship classes, social events, New Member Sessions, volunteer recruiting, etc.
