Early voting has started.  Here are the people I endorse.  I have met most of them and discussed their views.  Some of them I know fairly well.  Other (Donna Campbell) I have met briefly.  Not all of them are in my district, precinct, etc. Those that I don’t know, I read about in the League of Women Voter Guide.

US Rep Dist. 25 – Dr. Donna Campbell (very passionate, smart, focused, good values)
Dist Judge 428th- Bill Henry (involved in community big time!)
State Rep Dist 45- Jason Isaac (just met him, but really like him.  common sense. not your regular politician)
Hays County Judge- Dr. Bert Cobb (my allergist, very fiscally conservative)
San Marcos Mayor- Daniel Guerrero  (born and raised in SM, very involved in education, good business sense)
Hay County Clerk- Liz Gonzales (don’t know much about either candidate)
Hays County Sheriff- Tommy Ratliff (didn’t like the other candidate’s responses)
Hay County Commissioner Precinct 4- Karen Ford (I think Ray would do a good job too)
San Marcos City Council
Place 1- Kim Porterfield (have known Kim for quite a while. I like her diversity)
Place 2- Jude Prather (don’t know him much)
Prop 1- Yes (Lion’s club is a non profit agency and benefits community. it is an advantage to them over ‘for profit’ tube rental businesses.)
Prop 2- No
Prop 3- Yes
