For 12 weeks over the 2010 summer, PromiseLand has sponsored a weight loss training program.  We had incredible results!

Overall Weight Lost – 154 pounds (an entire person!!!!)
Overall Inches Lost – 140.575 inches (almost 12 feet!!)

Here are some comments from Daniel Hagerty, the Biggest Loser Leader.

The Pando’s participated as a family really bring them closer in faith, relationship and health. Even their youngest was out there doing push-ups with them!!! This is what it is all about, a family taking steps together to make a change. I am so proud of them and this is what I was hoping for.

Also I am proud of Andrea Romero and Rosela Alfaro….both started out somewhat shy and quiet, but as the weeks progressed and the weight started to come off, their smiles shined brighter and they became more alive and out going.

This entire group…I am so proud of them. They stuck it out, sweat together, worked together, prayed together and became closer as a group. Praise Him for making this happen, I feel honored and blessed to watch this group transform and can only say thank you to Promiseland, Harry, Row, and our Father above….thank you.

I have to say my favorite moment is both when T-Bear was able to run a complete lap around the entire parking lot with a 30 pound sandbag on his shoulders WITHOUT stopping!!!! Also watching them go back for the slower runners when running the HILL, they would finish the run and than go back and run it again along side those that had fallen back.
