David Huff
David Huff is one of my childhood heroes. What an awesome guitar player, songwriter, singer, but most of all SOLD OUT Christian. He has a tender, sweet spirit that represents Jesus so well. What a great man to hang out with.
He was at our church Sunday night and we were blessed by his ministry and worship. He texted me on Monday morning and said “You have a good thing going in San Marcos. I was honored to be with you all!” If I could print out that text and frame it, I would. Here is one song he did. It is a classic rock song from late 70s. HOLY RAIN!

What a great night! He says he’ll be back. I’m thankful that I did not miss this night. Looking forward to his return.
David is truly a legend in his own time, a man of amazing talent (Pat Sullivan says he is a real guitar monster) but what makes him so special is his close walk with God for 33 years all the while knowing what his talent could do if he lived for this present world. Folks, if you’re looking for a hero I recommend David Huff; he’s not a boy, he’s a man, the man from Pineville Mississippi.
I was so blessed & thankful I was there! I remember when he, Clayborn, Rayborn, & Keith Thibodeaux (David & the Giants) came to my home church in Knoxville, TN. It just brought back such great memories. Told my mom about it. She got out her David & the Giants LPs today. LOL! It is so pleasing to know that a man with such great talent has not lost focus and still ROCKIN’ FOR THE ROCK. . . 33 yrs strong! I’m looking forward to seeing him again. David Huff is definitely a pioneer & a hero for others to follow! This would be one person to emulate!
His lyrics and testimonies were straight from an overcomer that Jesus made a way for us to be. I am not a concert goer and I felt nothing but edified, lifted up and a part of the bride of Jesus.
It was a great night! Thanks for the invite, Brave Pastor Robin! I felt I was in the presence of greatness with a troubador for the Lord. I pray we’re able to have the same kind of legacies of stomping out the darkness!
Anne,
that is so true. the message is simple. God can do anything that needs to be done to completely convert your life.
