Today is my last day.
Today marks the final day of My Best 30 Ever. I can look back at the last month and say, “Yes, it was my best 30 ever, and I don’t want it to stop.” I have had way too much progress to look back or go back now. I have different desires, urges, and cravings. Many of the unhealthy cravings are gone. I can sit at a table and not care that my staff just ordered queso and are eating it right in front of my face… Thanks, guys! That was a good test at Garcia’s the other day.
Unfortunately, I caught a cold on Monday, so the final 5 days, I have been unable to workout. That sort of feels like failure, but that is a big part of life. Facing things that are beyond your control, and having the PATIENCE to continue and not loose sight of the goal.
So, Keep moving forward my friends! Whether you are on 25 or day 2, your best 30 is around the corner. Stop putting it off. Stop making excuses. Your spiritual and physical health is on the line. You need it. Your spouse wants it. Your kids will inherit it. Whatever or however you live your life influences everyone around and most importantly the kingdom of God.
I am signing off for several days. Erica and I will be gone next week and will be unable to get internet connection. We are taking a trip that the church gave us for Christmas. We are so grateful and thankful to each and everyone of our PSM family members. Those of you in San Marcos are in very well capable hands! Our pastoral and elder leadership is amazing!
