I had a good valentines day
I want to brag on my wife. For one thing, she says Valentine’s Day is crazy and doesn’t want me to spend money. So, I knew that I must still do something to show my love. What could I do? Well, on Thursday nights she teaches Childbirth classes at church. I decided to join her class last night.
I had never seen her teach and was so proud of her skills. She has a passion for helping women give birth and care for their newborns. For years she has been pursuing the dream of becoming a midwife and through these Childbirth classes, she is progressing toward that ultimate goal.
It is so rewarding to see someone doing what they love and were called to do. It makes them easy to listen to and be around. The passion is contagious and the information sticks with you.
Everyone check out her blog and let’s set a record for her “visits”: http://completechildbirth.wordpress.com

I think maybe Kennady got her absolute determination to survive from her mom. In spite of a constant string of obstacles, Erica has never been swayed to quit her goal of childbirth involvement. She has had to duck, dodge and redirect, yet always marches forward relentlessly in pursuit of her goal. What an inspiration to us all to never give up.
Well Pastor I think you just gave sister Pastor the best present a man could give , This wonderful letter of love and devotion and then to share with us all is awesome.
You two Rock our church and I love you both much.
I too was impressed with Erica’s class and thought she did a great job. A lot of her points just made sense to me.
What you are doing, Erica, is possibly & probably more important than the actual delivery of the baby. The planning and preparation of birth is vital to a healthy delivery. God bless YOU!!
