People! I am in court right now reporting for jury duty. I don’t know if it is a murder case or driving violation. If I don’t surface on this blog later this week, I may have been sequestered. However, I doubt that happens in Caldwell county.

Way to go Pastor! Many folks think jury duty is something to avoid and a waste of time. Far from that, it is one time and place where citizens can uphold our rule of law, or like in the case of OJ Simpson’s first trial, help to destroy it.
Is that what happened to Will, Felipe and Henry? Weren’t they sequestered to the gulf for a few days… until a verdict came in? Look around and let us know if you consider them “a jury of your peers”.

Bro Rob you right, I even had jury duty a while back, so we all are here to do our duty.!
well, folks…I was dismissed from jury. I think it was because I am a pastor. basically they look for reasons to kick you off instead of reasons to keep you on. the 12 remaining with no black marks make the jury.
It ended up being a case of “intoxication manslaughter”. Death and driving. interesting mix of what I originally blogged, huh?
I learned a lot about the system. I am glad I live in America that errors on the side of innocense instead of erroring on the side of guilty.
Yes, I was kicked off a similar case because my dad was a police officer and a fireman …they thought my moral values may be too high….or something. If only they knew…
I think thats Kinda strange how they “kick” people off for being “moral”
Hmm if the jury had “STRONG” Morals maybe we wouldn’t have repeat offenders. Just a thought but I guess I shouldn’t get into how our System works!!!
