Heaven
We get so focused on trying to live life to its fullest here on Earth that we forget our eternal prize. It awaits us even when it is the furtherest thing from our minds. A life where there is no pain or suffering. No death. No correction. Let’s pray, “Maranatha!” This means “Come ever so quickly Lord Jesus.” The Bible says to pray this prayer. Lord come and take us home. This world is not my home, I am only passing through.

Thanks for the reminder, Pastor. That word focus is so important. If our focus is this life and the world we live in, our best efforts, time, and resources will go there, only to be disappointed and let down. It is only by keeping our focus on God, that allows Him to give us the protection and help we need to flourish and do well here on Earth. Even when it looks like things go wrong, if our focus is on Him, we still trust Him because our ultimate goal is not the here and now.
