Speaking Engagements
Well, I have been asked by two churches to speak in July. I wanted to post the info here in case anyone wants to join me in the journey. All are welcome. Here are the options.
1. Covenant Life Center | Victoria, TX – Pastor Bobby Rivera – July 16th-17th -(Fri-Sat) This event is a conference and I will be speaking Saturday morning at 10am. However, a group of us is going Friday night to hear Scott Jones speak. If you are interested in going, then you can book a room at Holiday Inn Express 111 Huvar Street. Or you can simply drive down that morning. Jonathan Suber will be speaking Saturday night. http://covenantlifecentervictoria.com
2. Hill Country Tabernacle of Praise | Burnet, TX – Pastor James East – Fri. July 23rd. This event is also a multi-night event. They are celebrating 5 years as pastors of this church. Update from Gary Job Corp Campus
Praise Report:
First Gary Service on April 18, 2010 in CDC Auditorium we had 40 students attend. Average attendance has been 30 students every week a mixture of 1st week students and students who are already in the community. We have ministered to 202 students since April 18, 2010 to this Sunday, May 23, 2010. Awesome!!!!!! Doors have open tremendously on campus, we were ask to do leadership training with student ambassadors,and weekly visits to speak with 1st week students. It’s only the beginning !!
These last few weeks we have counseled, encouraged, and uplift the students who have come from various backgrounds the most common theme is that their families and friends have told them they would never be anything . Each one say I will prove them wrong!!! We say don’t do it for them do it for you!!
Depend on God and he will give you the strength to accomplish each and every task that is asked of you. With Christ you can do it. We bring the truth and give what was freely given to us the good news. We pray that each student accepts the truth and live a transformed life. Thank you Jesus for your faithfulness to your children. We thank each of who have truly made a commitment to this ministry, we pray for you and your family.
