FORT WORTH — An aspiring record label owner is singing the blues after he was arrested last week for allegedly trying to pass a $360 billion check at a Fort Worth bank.
Employees at the Chase Bank at 8601 S. Hulen St. grew suspicious after seeing all those zeroes (10 to be exact) and called the check’s owner. The woman said the suspect, Charles Ray Fuller, 21, of Crowley, is her daughter’s boyfriend and that he did not have permission to take the check or cash it.
While inside a patrol car, police say Fuller blurted out that he is starting his own record label and had been given the money by his girlfriend’s mother to help him start it.
Apparently breaking into the music business does not come cheap.
Being Popular
If you want to be popular, draw a crowd, or have a lot of people like you, is it all about pleasing them and not you?
I know the first thing going through most people’s minds right now is…”be yourself” “be authentic” that will draw people in. Will it?
‘Pleasing others’ sounds fake, but what about ‘serving others’? Denying yourself.
Popular sounds like a flimsy word to most adults. We think of high school and not being popular, not liking that, therefore trashing the word.
Maybe successful or appealing is a better word.
Think about packed out restaurants, best selling movies, sports teams with packed arenas, full churches, popular political candidates…

Strange Bird
This is what you call a strange bird. Four years ago, this bird first showed up at our house. We noticed him because he kept flying into our window. Not just once or twice. All day for weeks. The next spring he returned.
Last year, he was missing. This spring he returned and everyday he flies into the window. About 3-4 hours a day.
Why?
