Hangin in Nashville
Things are going well here in Nashville. We are actually staying in Spring Hill which is 40min or so south of Nashville. Last night we dined in Franklin (in between Nashville and Spring Hill). Franklin is a real cool little town with some nice restaurants. There are a lot of famous people that live in this area like Jacob Lower.. I mean… Hannah Montana, Faith Hill, the Judds, Toby Mac, the list goes on and on.
Tonight we are BBQing with great friends of ours Jereme and Jill Jeane, and John and Kristin Ragsdale (and everyone’s kids). All of you back in Texas, hold the fort down ’til we get back!!

This Week
After church on Sunday, the family and I loaded the car and we are traveling to Nashville for a few days. I am going to try and post some updates here. We are looking forward to hanging out with the Lowerys and Ragsdales.
This past weekend was so special for me. I can’t remember experiencing services where the mixture of faith and works was so balanced. In other words, we all stood up and acted on our faith. It is amazing how God always wants me to step out and lead. The comfortable position is to sit back and watch the congregation act. We all need to stand up and lead someone! Who is following you and where are you taking them? Hopefully, you are teaching them to give through your example.
Is there anything you want me to say to the Lowerys?
We will be back this coming weekend for our BIG Baptism Celebration! If you haven’t been baptized, then get ready for this Sunday night at the San Marcos River! 6pm – Even if you have already been baptized, join us for a great meal and good people

WKND!
I am eagerly anticipating a great weekend. The women are going on a retreat tonight. Then, we are having John Ragsdale join us on Saturday night. I was already intending to show a clip from John prophesying over our church and then speak on it. Now, that he is going to be here also, it is confirmation that everything is lining up just right. Be in prayer that God’s ways will be our ways this weekend!
