I’m Back
Erica and I had a wonderful trip (given to us by our church family) through the Caribbean. We cruised with Holland America to Grand Turk, Puerto Rico, and St Thomas. It was so relaxing that we are having a hard time adjusting to cooking our own meals and cleaning up our own mess. This morning I had to make my own coffee, it was whacky.
It is great to be back in the saddle again. To see our kids and our church family. I can’t wait for church on Sunday. It will be 21 days since I was at PSM. Being connected to a home like this is such a blessing.

- NO Fried Foods- not a big problem for me but need to cut out completely.
How Small Groups Work
Yesterday, Ruben Garcia, a man in our PromiseGroup, was diagnosed with a brain tumor in the pituitary gland. I went and visited him in the hospital and he was having severe headaches. Last night was our scheduled PromiseGroup meeting. The night that our small group gathers for hanging out and Biblical discussion. However, when someone in the group is going through a very difficult situation, you throw the original plan out the window and respond as a family.
