How many worship services??

As of today, I calculate 942 worship services have occurred at PromiseLand San Marcos over the last 7.5 years. Each year averages 52 Sundays and 12 first Wednesdays. When you calculate adding multiple services on a weekend, all the sudden the number goes a lot higher quicker.

What does this mean? A lot.

With each service is an expression to God of our devotion to him. We gather corporately and publicly to worship our Savior. That honors God. It means that each is an opportunity for new people to hear the gospel message preached. It means that individuals have opportunities to serve in a ministry and give selfless hours to progress the kingdom of God.

If my calculations are correct, we will celebrate our 1000th worship service on July 31st at the 11:30 service, and I want to celebrate that BIG time. Do you have any suggestions on how we could do it right??

Here is how the math breaks down as of this weekend:
2003- 48
2004- 52
2005- 64
2006- 116
2007- 116
2008- 168
2009- 168
2010- 168
2011- 46
