How a sermon comes together…
Saturday April 3rd, at 10am, I am hosting a 1hr “behind the scenes” to the message on Sunday. This is for folks interested in public speaking, building a lesson or sermon, etc. I will show you how it comes together and getting your input on the final components of the message. We will talk about where the concept comes from, how I research, where application comes in, memory techniques, etc.
It’s open to all. Show up at 10am Sat in the sanctuary. Below is a diagram of some of the content at the core of the message.
See you there.

I so love my Pastor. Not many would share the secrets of the trade! He is a true mentor!
I would love to hear feedback from those of you that attended Saturday and Sunday to hear what you learned and got out of the whole process from beginning to end.
I applaud your system of sermon prep where prayer and studying the Word foundational. I never considered how much time was spent in research to expand a subject down to its elemental components for validity, and then reassemble it in simple concepts that stay true to the Bible, yet are understandable to the folks who come to church on Sunday. Your reliance on God’s inspiration coupled with attention to detail and a personal dedication are what make PSM so different from the typical place of worship. Thanks Pastor for being who God made you to be. The results spoke for themselves at the PAC.
