Jan 10/11 Weekend
This past weekend at PSM was a landmark. We experienced the largest crowd we ever had (non-holiday). We had right at 740 people. At the 11 o’clock alone, we had 405! That is maximum capacity for our building. We count men, women, boys, girls, crickets, spiders, and anything else that moves. However, if we count them, then they have to participate in worship…
We rolled out our coffee bar for the first time and it was a huge hit. I think we served around 150 drinks over three services. Our barristas (coffee creators) are just getting the hang of it. I think they did real well for the first time. Starting this coming weekend we will ask for a $2 donation for a basic latte. More shots extra will be more $$. We had some people asking for triple shots. If that continues, I better see some BIG ACTION during worship. NO SLEEPING during sermons!! I am thinking of dropping decaff beans in there and seeing if people can tell the difference. What do you think?
More than all the above excitement, we had some powerful prayer sessions during all three services. Our time around the altar after praise and worship brought healing and peace to many people. I encourage everyone to come to the front during these times to find refreshment from God. Take the hand of another believer and allow God to take over. Declare that this is “the acceptable year of the Lord.” You will be hearing more of that when John Ragsdale comes in MARCH! (how about that little nugget)

AMEN!!
who is John Ragsdale???
Funny Matt! We really did have some incredible prayer time at the altar on Sunday! God truly moved in our midst. I know he is going to answer prayer this week in all of our lives! AMEN! Great prayer this morning at 6:00 with other wonderful ladies. Come on out, ladies, and join us! You will be amazed at how God will touch you early in the morning. His presence is extra special.
Sure wish I could join you at prayer.
Who was there this morning?
Kathy dont forget to put me down, I was just late, I did get there at 9…..does that count ?
Our surge in attendance could be 1 of three things….it could be the coffee or it could be that people made New Years resolutions to attend church this year or we could be growing.
