That time I tried to go to NARNIA. 😬This MLK day is different for me. While writing my book, I used a section of his “Letter from Birmingham Jail”. My publisher said that it was long enough that I had to get official permission from his family. So I wrote to his estate and asked permission. They were so kind and referred me to a firm in NY that handles everything legally. I submitted my request and they said it would cost $150 to use the portion I needed. 😅 If you have never read this letter, please do so. What an incredible message that resonates in this present generation. A few weeks back, my family and I visited the location where he was shot in Memphis. Such a somber moment for me. #mlkdayBooks I’ve Read Lately
