Living Life Abundantly

Living my story.
I come from the school of thought that says quality is more important. However, Jesus told a parable in Matt 22:1-14 about a king who gave a supper for the marriage of his son. Nobody showed up so he told the servants to bring in people off the streets. So there was a big crowd there but when the King came in there was a guy without the correct wedding clothes on. He had the servants throw the guy out into outer darkness.
He concluded the parable by saying that many are called but few are chosen. Therefore our church should do the same; bring as many as possible in and teach them Biblical concepts. Those who are chosen will respond and draw closer to Him. We should have both quantity and quality. I think we are doing exactly that.
We have a good balance between quality (excellence) and quantity. Quantity is a pretty good indicator of the quality. If things are done with excellence then people will want to come back.
The gent sitting all alone reminds me of a verse I read hundreds of time seting in a church in Fort Worth as a kid.
It set on the alter and it said. “If everyone in this church was just like me,what kind of church would this church be.” so as you read, sure gives food for throught.!!!
We at Promiseland are so blessed to have quality and quantity, but we must always keep our hearts open and our eyes upon God.
Never walk alone.
