Jonnie Wilson
Friday, I went to a special luncheon honoring several women from Texas State. I was invited by Jonnie Wilson, who was one of 8 honorees. The president of the University was there, the mayor (both of whom are women). It was a huge deal!
I am so proud and honored to know Jonnie Wilson. I love her because
- she loves God
- she serves God
- she loves diversity
- she is a wonderful mother (and Grandmother)
- she is a hard worker
- she has overcome a stroke, severe asthma, and who knows what else
- she has a master’s degree
- she works at Texas State
- She loves me and my family

Congratulations, Jonnie!!!!! You are truly a great example of someopne overcoming MANY obstacles!!!! I am thankful that I know you, also.
When Jonnie and I kneel at the foot of the cross, Jesus looks down and sees two of His children. Though our ancestors traveled different paths, we both appear on life’s stage at this time and place and seek our identity in Jesus Christ, not this world’s mandate. It is an honor to stand shoulder to shoulder with Jonnie Wilson in the service of our Lord, who is the originator of diversity.
Congulations Jonnie, I love you too.
Your soup lady!!!
Jesus’s love and warmth flows from you.You always make me feel sooo loved, and i’m thankful for that.
