If I were the President…
If I were the President of the USA, I would:
a. Work to stimulate the economy
b. I would support and sign legislation that would help lower income families get jobs and homes
c. Work with Congress and find answer for our horrible health care situation
d. Focus on National Security. Work on our border situation and overseas conflicts
e. Focus on social issues like abortion and marriage laws

This is a tough blog to comment on. there seems to be so many pressing issues. it is hard to figure out which one is really a big deal and which ones the media are interested in. maybe that is why we are running for Pres.
If I were President, I would…E try to unite the country. we are so bitterly divided over issues that even when a party controls the house or senate, bills can not be passed. my generation is sick of this. this is why “change” has such a ring to it.
If I were President:
F. Work to make alternative fuel available to all American Citizens and to Unite the Industrialized countries to fight Global Warming
G. Increase funding for Autism research, Force insurance companies to fund “extra” therapy for Americans with Autism and assist middle to lower class families dealing with Autism to provide healthy foods, environments and in-home assistive tools
There is an old saying: Those who do not study history are usually forced to repeat it. I think America is headed down the same path taken by the ancient Roman Empire. It’s leaders promised the masses whatever they wanted so they could stay in power and skim off the wealth. The only problem was, only producing citizens had money that could be taxed to pay for all the social programs. America has fallen into this same quagmire and the recipients of the Governmental largess are multiplying faster than the contributor’s ability to produce. So put me down for a “D” as that comes closest to what I think the President should focus on
If I were President…… I would really work on the things I promised the voters I would do. It seems they only tell us what we want to hear full knowing that there are so many people involved that no one can really do anything.
If I were president, I would work promote unity in our nation (where unity is, God commands His blessing), I would work toward securing our borders (I have no problem with people coming to America for more opportunity, but they should do so legally), the military would be used for defensive of our nation, not policemen of the world, I would work to secure family values (marriage being defined as a man and woman united)…and I am sure there are a few more issues out there worth pursuing.
I’ve been reading Laura Ingram’s book “Power to the People”, she makes some very good points. (I first heard Laura Ingram on Focus on the Family, Dr. Dobson really likes her).
If I were president I would f) stand in front of a bus to see the secret service people respond and various other life threatening antics until they impeach me because, frankly, the job is huge and requires a much bigger ego than I will ever have or am allowed by Jesus.
