We are happy

We flew out after the 11am service on Sunday. We had a direct flight to Denver on SWA. We landed and a sweet young lady picked us up and took us the 1.5 hour drive up the mountain. The trip was snowy and cold! Erica was nervous, but our driver was great.

ski2Instead of checking into our hotel, we went straight to church Fraser Valley Baptist Church. This was Rowena Flemming’s church. We had a great time there! I almost went to sleep a couple of times. Not because it was boring, but because I was a little weary from travel and the high altitude.

We woke up today and the sun was shining, it was 25 degrees outside, and there was about a foot of fresh snow on the ground. For those of you that are not skiers…those are excellent conditions!! We took several pictures, but we forgot our cable that connects the camera to the computer. Does anyone know a way around that? how can you get pics to the computer without the cable?

The pictures here are from my phone (bad color and clarity)

  1. Those cables are fairly common…you definately need it to get the pictures onto your pc (unless you have some type of really fancy camera that is wireless). You shouldn’t even be worrying about pictures right now! Enjoy your vacation.

  4. You and Erica should be relaxing and enjoying to snow. We can see the pics when you get home. Be blessed and safe. We love you.

  5. Man that snow is perfect! And the best thing is yours are the first tracks down. I haven’t found any other experience quite like the feeling of drifting through fresh powder.

  6. Those pictures looke great!!!! I can feel that cold fresh air right here in damp, warm Texas, if only for a brief moment. 🙂
