Living my story.
Next week, I will be documenting our trip here on the blog. That is…if we have the web technology up there. hope so. Thankfully, Winter Park has chair lifts that slow down at the top.
I was so scared that was going to happen to me when we went skiing.
That’s like a bad dream. Fortunately, it probably has only occurred a few times out of the millions of skiers that have exited a lift. Moral is: don’t get too attached to the lift! Hey, I bet there is a sermon in that somewhere.
CHICKENS!!!! When I was a young skier, back in the days of safety straps, my friend and I made a game of knocking each others skis off while on the ski lift and trying to get them back on before we got off at the top. Good times………………..
I tried skiing once and almost broke my neck and that was on the bunnie run. Just can’t imagine taking the lift.
I managed to fall down getting off the lift at Winter Park…I think they had to stop the whole lift. I do enjoy skiing but the next time we go I am going seriously work out for two months…cardio.
Have fun!
Where we stayed had wireless and Starbucks (ski in/ski out) on the mountain.
I have gotten off the lift wrong a few times before but never like that. YIKES!
Fortunately, I got better with time.
Kathy…I had already gotten off the lift sucessfully but I had a friend with me who was rushing me, it stressed me out. 😀
