Thursday Morning
It is thursday morning and we are praying to God for strength. Yesterday afternoon we lost one of our teenagers in an auto accident. Our loss was heaven’s gain.
Colton Miranda, 16yrs old, soccer player at Lockhart High School, son, friend, brother, hard worker, and overall cool guy.
We are showing our love to the family with meals, water, prayer. If you would like to help in these ways contact our office and we will get you connected.

It is amazing to see our “system” in action. God is flowing through our organizational structure. A stiff, business-like flow chart of leaders, directors, pastors is actually more than that. it is the method or tool in which God’s love is flowing. A river is flowing out the belly.
I was on scene last night, shortly followed by the Miranda’s PromiseGroup leader (Joshua Carpenter). Dan Armstrong (youth pastor) followed up and met with the family this morning as they planned the funeral. Later today, ladies from the church will be delivering the first round of food.
God is good and His mercy endures forever. Thank you, God, for flowing through us.
Today we stand in the gap for Johnny, Gwenda and Shelby. May God’s healing power flow over their souls and bring peace in the midst of this storm.
The youth have joined in the effort. They have boxes at San Marcos, Lehman, and Hays High Schools for the teens to write a note about their most memorable time with Colt. Then tomorrow a scrapbook will be made for the family. It’s nice to know that everyone here jumps in and helps during hard times.
My prayers are with you all…
