Here is Wednesday
Since we have moved the blog to wordpress (1 week), we have had 1650 views of the blog. This is unprecedented for us. We have more posts also.
We have every intention to have a worship service tonight. Last night we had another big rain and the water went up on the bridge. However, it went DOWN much faster this time. In fact, by this morning it was low again. So, we are learning to plan and wait, plan and wait, plan and wait. This is a pattern God really likes us in. He has all control.
Our staff is right in the middle of creating a “movement” that will work whether it drizzles or floods rivers. It is called, “Operation: Worship Without Walls“. We are tired of the walls of weather. Our church must be able to operate without these boundaries. By this afternoon, we will have it posted to the website and letters will be in the mail to our members. It is basically built off our PromiseGroup model but includes procedures for financial giving, prayer, ministry, and communication.
I will post here and on the website the latest about tonight.
I love you all.

Prayer & positive thinking go hand in hand. I am believing that we will have a worship service at 1650 Lime Kiln tonight and a mighty service it will be!!!!! Amen! Please believe with me. Also, I am believing in advance for the Sunday service. 🙂
Tonight, we are moving our service to the San Marcos Activity Center -7pm. It is located on Hopkins across the street from St John’s Catholic Church.
Sometimes God speaks in misterious ways. This time it may have been with a bunch of water. He certainly has our attention right now, and I am excited to hear about the new “movement”.
You said it Brother Rob!!! God is telling us something, I for one need to stop and listen more. It is so easy to get swept up in our day to day lives that we sometimes stop listening the way we should.
I am very pleased to be a member of a church that will NOT let water stop us from gathering and hearing the word.
