Guest Contest is BACK

Our Summer Guest contest is back at PromiseLand San Marcos and I can’t wait to see tons of new faces in our congregation. For 8 weeks, our church focuses intently on inviting new people to Sunday services.  June 12th-July 31st – Friends, co-workers, students, neighbors, family.  Invite them.  Think of creative reasons and ways to get them to the church.  Free meals after church, dedicate your kids, get baptized, renew your vows, bribe them…:) There are many ways and reasons, however, probably the best is a simple invitation. You would be surprised how many of your contacts are simply waiting for you to invite them.

Easter Opportunity Slipping By…

I want to remind you of the ENORMOUS opportunity you have today, tomorrow, and Friday.

The next 3 days are the most optimal time to invite people to your church...the entire year.

Obviously, each person that we encounter might individually be more prepared for the gospel on other days, but generally speaking…most people are open to going to church on Easter Sunday.

I have seen multiple surveys that say at least 75% of people would attend church if invited.

HERE ARE THE KEYS TO MAKE IT SUCCESSFUL:

Don’t Be In Such A Hurry!

My dream:

Two cars are driving down a road. It is a two-lane road. It is a winding road. They are cruising along. The second car is eager to pass the first, even though they are already cruising at a nice speed. The second car wants to pass the first (the leader) so badly that they are about to cross over the double yellow line to make their move.
