Jewish priests fitted for service in future Jerusalem Temple
Confident that Israel’s Temple to the Almighty will be rebuilt atop Jerusalem’s Temple Mount in the very near future, the Temple Institute this month began fitting Jews from the biblical priestly tribe for their holy garments. The Bible describes a very specific set of garments to be warn by members of the priestly tribe when they are serving in the Temple. This month’s fitting was the first time since the destruction of the Second Temple over 2,000 years ago that potential Jewish priests had been measured for such garments. Following the fitting, each potential future priest was presented with a set of garments matching the biblical description. When the Temple is rebuilt, a fresh set of garments will need to be made for each priest, as they can only be used in the Temple. The Temple Institute has for decades been involved in preparing the various garments, instruments and other items needed to dedicate what is known as the Third Temple. Most Jews and Christians believe the Third Temple will be built atop the Temple Mount – today occupied by Islamic mosques – prior the coming of Messiah and the establishment of his direct reign over the earth. |

The Word says they will rebuild it. Currently the Dome of the Rock, a Muslim Holy Site is there. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Revelation unfolding in our generation? In order for the the temple to be built, the mosques have to be torn down. But by whom? The Islamic nations would be outraged, these sites are very holy. This would lead them to seek to destroy Israel. Possibly leading to a all out war. That the Nations of the World could’nt ignore????
I for one, so ready for a new garment.
This reminded me of the robe of white, trimed in gold, that I will wear one day.

I have been waiting like everyone else to see the temple rebuilt for the prophecy in Daniel to be fulfilled. But when I saw the picture above something struck me. There is a Muslim masque sitting in God’s Temple. For the abomination of desolation spoken by Daniel the Prophet, is where the man of sin sits in Gods Temple and proclaims himself to be a god. What if the man of sin is a muslim? In Daniel 11 it says;
Daniel 11:38
But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces:(Jupiter Capitolinus) and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

However, the peace treaty may prove otherwise, then the Muslims will allow Israel to tear down their temple and rebuild….but that sounds so unlikely to happen.
I’ve been looking into this and also the RFID Chip they are planning on planting in people (possible mark of the beast)
The theory that the Temple stood where the Dome of the Rock now stands is only one theory out of at least 14 that I know of. The Temple Institute in Jerusalem holds to this theory and is posted on their website, so to many people’s minds, this holds much weight because they are the rabbis traning the priests and preparing the instruments for use in the coming Temple. Two other very common theories which are very convincing are that the original Temple(s) stood to the North ( Dr. Asher Kaufman) and to the South (Tuvia Segiv) of the Dome of the Rock, which implies that the Dome of the Rock would NOT have to be removed. In my mind, this is a very interesting concept because it would allow both Muslims and Jews to worship on the Temple Mount. This scenario could be part of the covenant that the antichrist signs when he rises to power. It’s exciting to read about the preparations for the Temple because it implies we may be close to the rapture and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Come Lord Jesus!
It is interesting to me that there is so much focus in the Christian faith in the construction of a third Temple when Jesus refers to himself as the temple that will be destroyed and in three days rise again. Which begs the question why would Christians want or need for Israel to return to the old practice of animal slaughter and sacrifice when they believe that Jesus was slaughtered once on the cross for all people? It seems counter intuitive. If the Spirit of God makes its home in each Christian then it seems that each believer is the third Temple.

As a Christian, I know that all prophecies from GOD will be fulfilled in their own time and to also know the times we are living in. It isn’t that Christ needs the Jews to start doing animal sacrifices, rather it is the Jewish way for Jesus was not accepted as the Messiah the first time he came into this world. Therefore, they practice Judaism and until the time when Jesus returns, when he shall be revealed to the Jews as the Messiah, all need for the Third Temple will be eradicated and Jesus will build his final Temple on Earth for his 1000 year Millennial Reign.
